Penny Black.

Morning all, 2 more thank you cards this time
using the sweet Penny Black hedgehog. I used
the SU punch for the flowers above and the sentiment.
The border is Martha Stewart as is the butterfly.
Softer colours on this one, bashful blue and so saffron,
the sentiment is SU and was punched out using
their punches, marianne die for the twirled flowers
and a bit of bling and glitter.
Have a good Monday.

Thank You Cards.

A couple of thank you cards that were made for my
Josh's teachers, really simple as I had 7 cards to make!
Two C.C.Design images, I tried to make them look
like the teachers they were for, although Josh
told me that Louise doesn't have a puppy!
I love the funny things he says, he has a great
imagination.

love it!
Have a good Saturday.

More Bunting And Owls!

Morning all, another card using the owl punch and
new bunting punch from SU, very similar to the card
we made in class but this one is 8x8.
I used my QK dies for the presents and the alphabet.
A close up of the owl with his googly eyes!
I've used tempting turquoise and so saffron
designer paper, the owls are choc chip.
And a wonky angle shot! I'm trying to get some
more interesting shots but not convinced they're
working. Have a good day.

Birthday Bear.

Afternoon all, I've used the Cricut Mickey Mouse font
for this card, my friend ordered this card and as
she calls Harry, Haribo it had to include a yellow bear!
The bear is a QK revolution die and the flag was
created using the pennant punch from SU, I added
the date using Doddlebug rub-ons(the best ever).
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Seeds Of Learning.

This card was created using a QK 4x4 die,
my sons teacher has an allotment so it seemed
the perfect card for him, the sentiment is SU
and the card is cake crumb and chic chip.

Ribbit Ribbit.

Todays card is again created using my Cricut,
the stamped sentiment is SU as are the punches
used to punch it out, the card stock and DP are
chocolate chip and crumb cake paper, the frogs
are cut from certainly celery.

Hearts Galore.

Morning all, today we have a Tilda image made
for the lovely Lynn who retired from our school at
the end of July, Lynn loves Tilda and lilac so of course
I had to incorporate both, I usually can't get to grips
with Tilda I think it's because she's got no nose!
I used a Marianne die for the flowers and the
name is a cuttlebug alphabet, one of the gorgeous
heart charms(reserved for very special people;)
and a bit of bling and it's done.
Have a great Sunday.

Tink Time.

Morning all, I was really happy with how this
card turned out, Tinkerbell was very fiddly to
put together but well worth it. The inside all
fans out. I used my Cricut for the number and
for Tinkerbell, the butterflies are a Martha Stewart
punch, the sentiment was created on the
computer and then punched out using
a SU punch.
A close up of Tink, look at the attitude!
Have a good weekend.

Teachers Gifts.

Evening all, these are a couple of altered
clipboards that I created for two of the
teachers at my boys school, they are also
students of mine and sometimes come to
a workshop. I think to give a gift that
you have given your time to is far more
precious than any gift that's had money
thrown at it. I've used one of the Gorjuss
stamps and my I-topper to create the flowers
and brad, I also added an internal pocket
using my cropadile.
This is a C.C.design image and a
gorgeous Martha Stewart punch, I
realised I forgot to add a pen to this
one, never mind, I'm sure she loved it.

You Rock!

Morning all.
This image is a greeting farm stamp.
My friends daughter has a hat like this so
I just had to use this image.
I've used the retired orchid opulence card stock,
the tiny heart is part of the SU set bitty buttons
the greeting is from a sentiment set from
Dies to die for, punched out using SU punches.

Get Well Wishes.

Afternoon all, todays post has one of the lovely
Penny Black stamps, the hedgehog should be holding
a teddy bear but as this was for my friend I just
didn't ink that part of the stamp. I used Doodlebug
rub-ons for the daisy chain and the sentiment is
from a SU stamp set.
A closer shot of the hedgehog and the flower
created from  a SU punch.
I also made her a little suitcase to match and filled
it with her favourite sweets.
Get well soon my lovely Helen.

Whoo Loves Yooou.

Evening all.
Another easel card using the QK 2x2 owl
and branch dies. The lower leaves are from
the SU 2 step bird punch, the name is
Cuttlebug and a few doodlebug rub ons.

Sunday 9 October 2011

Up Up And Away.

Morning all, another C.C. Design image,
really simple, I've used the sizzix balloon die,
some doodlebug papers and a SU sentiment.

Saturday 8 October 2011

Class Makes.

I love this owl punch and the new petit pennants
stamp set with MATCHING punch(!!) is sure to
become another of my favourites.
A closer shot of Mr Owl, you can see that we threaded the
bunting on to silver thread so it moved about,
the colours are tempting turquoise and daffodil
delight, the alphabet is a QK one.
Our next card used the gorgeous new colours pool party
and wisteria wonder along with the equally yummy
crumb cake. We used the top note die for the mat,
not one I've used before but I'm sure it will now
be coming out for an airing on a more regular basis.
A little close up of the bunting.
Then lastly we made this ultra cute suitcase, I cannot believe
that I've had this die for about 18 months and never used it!
shame on me, it has now become another of my firm favourites.
A close up of the flower created using the 5 petal flower
punch and we're done. Have a great Saturday.

Anniversary Time.

O.K. something a bit cheerier, my goodness
I didn't realise how much I use this image but
I really do love it! this was made for a friend
to give to her hubby.
I used bashful blue (again!) chic chip and crumb cake,
a lovely combo for a mans card. My other big love
is tiny tags, a fantastic set when your card is lacking
a little something. The hearts were punched with the
SU heart 2 heart punch which gives all three sizes
of heart, I glittered the crumb cake ones.
A closer look at the bottom, embossed with a cuttlebug
folder which is tiny hearts, the sentiments are cuttlebug to.

Difficult Cards To Make.

Morning all, sympathy cards are always very
difficult but these ones were heartbreaking
for me to make, I cried the whole time I was
making them. The one above was created using
my Cricut for the word and the background was
made using one of the SU wheels, I then added
some delicate frilled daisies.
These two were made using the SU butterfly punch
and bashful blue card, paper and ribbon,
and then the retired barely banana for the
one below. It is always difficult to lose
someone we love but this was a 2 year old
that had died, so extra heartbreaking.
I shall be back later with something a bit
happier for you, remember to show those
that you love your true feelings, never regret
not saying I love you.

Wednesday 5 October 2011

1 Today.

Two cards with the same layout, I've used my cricut
for the number and then the animals are QK dies,
a bit of bling and you're done.
Something totally random but just wanted to
show you a great way to use up scrap paper,
the rollers are created by rolling a strip of paper tightly,
simple but very effective.
Have a good day and yes I am up at silly-o-clock!

Sunday 2 October 2011

Football crazy.

Afternoon all, this card was created using my cricut for
the numbers, a  computer generated sentiment,
QK footballs and QK string bean alphabet.
Just wanted to share a photo of my Josh,
he loves to dress up, yesterday he had on woolly
gloves and hat! he's quite often an Eyepet called
fluffy, you've got to love his imagination.
Enjoy whats left of the weekend.

Saturday 1 October 2011

Anniversary And Bath Time.

My classes are over so time to post again!
A silver anniversary card using another house mouse
image, I put the couples names and date on the tags
I used the Marianne die for the flowers, and the
QK eyelet nestie.
I love these gruffie bears it reminds me of  my
three boys, so perfect for nan and grandad cards.
I used tempting turquoise card stock and DP with
the retired orchid opulence card. The alphabet is
a cuttlebug one and the sentiment is a SU stamp set.
Be back tomorrow with some more goodies to share.
