Edible Flowers.

 Now wouldn't you like a bouquet like this?

My friend ordered one of these as a gift and 

I'm absolutely chuffed with how it came out.

The pink ones are a vanilla sponge and butter cream

and the lemon ones are lemon sponge and buttercream.

my piping is slowly improving and if in doubt add glitter!

I hope you like them and are not dribbling 

on your keyboard!!

So How Was It for You?

 It's all over for another year!!

I hope you all had a good Christmas, ours was 

downscaled this year so not so much rubbish to

deal with today, everything is put away and the house

is tidy, I was considering taking down the tree but

was given a stern NO! 

This was my hubby's card, another LOTV image.

 I love bunnies so it was very appropriate.

These were our table favours, they contained the

individual boxes of after eights, very cute.

Whatever you are doing today i hope you have a 

great boxing day.

Oh Christmas Tree...

 It's Christmas eve!! how did that happen?

These little trees are some of the gifts I made

for those who are special to me.

 I made four of them, you can see my mini forest,

next year I plan on making lots more of them.

 This is another Lili of the valley image,they're so sweet.

Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.

I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.

Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace? "

Or a Cricut," I said, with a smile on my face.

And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa!" I said.

"You know....good little girls should be in their beds."

"I know I should Santa, and now I've got caught.

But I was just so excited to see what you brought."

"Well, let's take a look in this room where you work."

He shook his head quickly, and left with a jerk.

I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear...

"You've got enough crap, I'll see you next year!"

Christmas Is A Coming!!

 A card made using one of the lovely Lili of the valley

 images, the sentiment is also from them, I've used the 

Sizzix swirl and heart punch from SU.

 A close up of those cute bears with lots of sparkle!

 My S-I-L loves my brownies so instead of just

giving her the recipe I decided to fill a jar with the

ingredients and attach the recipe to it, 

I think the different colours look great.

A look at the top, this is an Elzybells image and

sentiment, sadly they're no longer trading, 

I 've had it a few years and this was 

it's first airing, shame on me!

Rock Chick!

 I'm back!

Created using the QK body and clothes which also

has the guitar in it, made up the amp myself, 

nests for the star and a Cuttlebug alphabet.

The musical note on her T-shirt is a brad.

cards to show you soon, I've been very busy

making but keep forgetting to photograph

and give them away!

Sorry for my absence but life has been crazy,

but now that I've finished decorating 2 grottos,

had my last class before Christmas, made good progress

with my card orders, made 200+ cupcakes with

my friend and help run the school fair, I should

hopefully get back to blogging in the next week,

although haven't even begun the Christmas shopping!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

 Morning all, here's a few Christmas cards to get

you in the mood, can you believe it's December

tomorrow? The card above is a very simple gatefold

and embellished using Cricut Polar bears.

 I love these little girls created using various QK dies. 

This one is completely QK and a Doodlebug paper.

If you're having a midweek break because of the

strikes enjoy your day, if not enjoy it anyway!!

Inedible Cake.

 Look what I've been doing today!!

I had an order for a nappy cake for a baby shower,

I love putting these together, they're a bit 

like pass the parcel as there's so much hidden inside.

This one has 4 bottles of toiletries, 5 vests, 3 sleep suits,

2 hats 2 pairs of scratch mitts and 2 pairs of socks!! 

I wanted to add some decoration so decided on the

Sizzix daisy die to create these lovely flowers.

Hope the recipient likes it.

Christmas Is A Coming!!

Morning all, a card made using QK snowman 

and christmas tree dies, the sentiment was

printed from the computer and the bunting he's

holding was printed then punched out using

one of the points from the SU star punch.

Handbags And Glad Rags.

 I was asked to make a card for a Paul's Boutique fan,

now as a Mum of 3 boys I didn't have a clue 

what they were talking about! After some

questioning of various Mum's they all said handbags.

 A close up of one of the bags, this was cut using

the QK handbag from the set called Flirt.

 A Penny Black image and lots of glitter.

A shot of the charm and those handbags,

not sure if it shows but they were cut in

 yummy velvet paper (stroke stroke!).

Class Makes.

 These were this weeks makes at class.

QK snowman and papers in the yummy new

pool party and early espresso card stock.

 Look at this little cutie, really quick and effective

card using SU treat cups and dazzling diamonds.

 Give it a shake!!

 Lastly the beautiful petal cone die cut in 

Cherry cobbler and Early espresso.

Pure elegance, very unlike me!

Perfect for a special gift or to 

hang on your tree.

It's Raining Babies!!

 I know I said that it would be a card from class

but I really wanted to share this one.

How cute are those babies??

Where Did The Week Go?

 O.K. I know it's been a while but this week

seems to have flown by but also been the longest,

I'm sure you know what I mean.

This little 4x4 card was one of the items we

made at class as was the box. Rudolph was

created using the owl and bird builder punch

from SU, the paper is Doodlebug.

twist the top it's truly one of the quickest

boxes to put together.

Driving By.

This image is from a retired SU set. I can't remember

the name my brain is fried today!

I've used chic chip and pumpkin pie paper, a 

perfect combination for a mans card.

Another 21st And A Couple Of Pigs!!

 Morning all, I thought I'd share a picture of our

piggies with you, they really are the funniest pets

we've ever had, the one in front (Weeb) likes to 

practice her kung fu skills on poor Poppy and

sometimes on me, a real little character.

 Now onto the card, all the card stock and paper is SU,

again the trusty Cricut for the number and the how old?

the stars were cut using Nesties and the cheers to you

is from a retired SU set.

A bit of embossing to add some interest to the stars

and we're done. 

Might Make Your Eyes Go Funny!

 Look at that holographic card!! I've never been a

fan of holographic but thought I'd give it a go 

as Riki's birthday is 5th November and I love it.

 Numbers cut with my Cricut (of course!) the fireworks

are a QK blast die the mat which has his name on

it is created by matting up the SU punch, a great

alternative to nesties.

Finally the inside which is also explosive an

all round 5th of November card.

Halloween Offering.

 A C.C.Design image, I thought this was

appropriate for halloween, she's so cute,

 The ultra sweet sweetie wrapper die which is 

exclusive to SU, so easy once you know how!
